We have had a positive start to 2008.
Peter Donaghey currently has a high profile family law case proceeding to the House of Lords, which is likely to affect the standard of proof test in care proceedings.
Our commitment to public funding continues and in April 2008 we were awarded the largest legal help contract in Kent. We now offer legal services throughout Kent, at our one stop clinics.
We are pleased to welcome Michael Clarke a respected and Senior Family Solicitor to our Sittingbourne branch and know he will become a valued member of our team.
Gary Holland joined our Gillingham branch to complete his training contract and is quickly establishing himself within our Family Law team. Our longstanding paralegal Perry Murphy will now commence his training contract with us and we wish him the best of luck.
Last but definitely not least, in June 2008, we are delighted to announce that Robert Harvey Joined our team. He heads our new Civil Department at the Sittingbourne branch. Robert has 30 years experience in civil law and recently won the coveted national ILEX award and as a result of this fantastic achievement he has been invited to attend Her Majesty the Queens annual Garden Party. Well done Robert!!

Joining Robert in this new department is Andrew Stone. Andrew specialises in both family and civil law and is an important link between the two departments.
Our consultant Lynn Davis, has now published her second Law book and continues to write articles for family law journals.
Finally, we have now moved to our new head office at 5 High Street, Gillingham. This move allows us to continue to expand the practice and to realise our goal to develop our specialist teams and provide exceptional service for our clients.
