Bias on Public Law Proceedings and Private Law Children Act proceedings but experienced in general family law, including proceedings under the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 and Family Law Act 1996.

Experienced as a Solicitor specialising in Family law and working in specialist Family Law Department working in all areas of family law but now specialising almost exclusively in Children Act proceedings and experienced in proceedings from the Magistrates Court to the Court of Appeal.

Experienced as a solicitor specialising and working in all aspects of Family Law but now exclusively in respect of childlaw proceedings mainly in the public law (care and adoption) arena in which he represents children, parents and other relatives.
Joanne Porter, L.L.B.
Solicitor
Qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 specialising in Family law Children Act proceedings and now predominately Public law children and adoption. Before joining private practice in 2007 Joanne worked for Kent County Council representing the Local Authority in Care and Adoption proceedings and advising the East Kent Adoption panels, also undertaking some training of Social Workers and Adoption panel members.
