Qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 specialising in Family law Children Act proceedings and now predominately Public law children and adoption. Before joining private practice in 2007 Joanne worked for Kent County Council representing the Local Authority in Care and Adoption proceedings and advising the East Kent Adoption panels, also undertaking some training of Social Workers and Adoption panel members. Joanne is currently undertaking a Masters Degree with Keele University in Child Care Law and Practice.
Joanne undertakes the majority of her own advocacy and has a special interest in Adoption (including International Adoption) and Special Guardianship applications as well as experience in child abduction matters inside and outside of the EU.
